Every year, Community Volunteers hosts an array of traditional gatherings and new projects. Read below to see what we have planned for the upcoming year, and how you can join us!
The CV Summer Picnic is an opportunity for us to partner with other organizations on projects focused on school aged children. In the past, we have worked with Utah Foster Care, Bountiful Food Pantry, The Road Home, and other organizations to prepare children to return to school.
As a fun tradition, we accompany the service project with a picnic! You can always find us enjoying bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, and a game of BINGO.
This year’s project was in partnership with the Bountiful Food Pantry assembling “Pantry Pack” dinner kits, providing weekend meals for school-age children in our community.
We always enjoy bratwurst, rolls, potato salad, and are entertained with games of BINGO and Cornhole to win fabulous prizes.
Fun for the whole family!

Utah is famous for the greatest snow on earth, but with that comes frosty winters, and cold little feet. Each year we provide over 1,000 pairs of shoes to students at Title 1 schools in hopes of warming their feet and warming their souls.

This year’s project was a success in delivering 1,000 pairs of shoes to elementary schools, Utah Foster Care, and the Boys and Girls Club.
Thanks to Utah First Credit Union, we were able to wrap each box of shoes to make it an extra special occasion for those who received them.
And of course we had a special guest appearance from Santa Claus!
